Tom grew up on a family orchard where he enjoyed fresh apples, pears, apricots, and peaches for many years. His love for fruits and his passion for problem-solving led him to found Daxo Industries. He previously worked at iRobot, Uber ATG, and Rapyuta Robotics. He has a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and computer science from Cornell University.

Leighton is the VP of Quality at Rice Fruit Company. He oversees one of the largest packaging and storage facility for apples in the eastern US. Leighton has twenty years of experience in the apple industry. In addition, he is the inventor of StemPunk, a stem-clipping device for apple pickers.
